About Me

Sophie Thacker

MA, RCC #23426, CCC #10008312

Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, Sophie now calls Northern BC home! When the weather isn’t suitable for exploring the outdoors or enjoying a day at the lake, Sophie enjoys playing video games or attempting crafts (such as sewing).

After graduating high school, Sophie knew she wanted to study psychology and pursue further education. From volunteering in Victim Services, working in several helper-profession roles, and attending workshops, she knew she had a passion for psychology and mental health.

Sophie worked as a frontline worker and is a first responder spouse; she knows what shift work is like and how stressful jobs can impact one's life and relationships! She also has personal experience with neurodivergence and understands how neurodivergence can impact all aspects of life!
